A striking vintage Czech art glass bead necklace, most likely dating to the late 1920s–1940s.
The necklace is composed of substantial, hand-formed oval beads in warm honey-mustard tones with deep reddish marbled swirls. Each bead is unique, displaying organic internal patterns typical of early Bohemian “end-of-day” (slag) glass techniques.
The glass is dense and pleasantly weighty (67 grams), giving the necklace a grounded, luxurious feel when worn. Minor irregularities, soft glass flows and small edge chips around some drill holes are consistent with age and traditional production methods.
The necklace has been professionally restrung with individual knotting between beads for protection and durability, and fitted with a classic barrel clasp in keeping with its vintage character.
