Product Details

An impressive and richly decorated Bohemian art glass goblet, approximately 30 cm (11.8 in) tall — a rare example of late 19th-century enamel and gilded work.

Made of fine colorless crystal, hand-painted with translucent burnt-orange enamel and intricate golden filigree scrollwork. The lively warmth of the orange enamel contrasts beautifully with the luminous gold detailing, producing a refined yet vibrant effect.

The form — a tall stem with double knops and broad foot — corresponds to that of Heckert’s exhibition glass, balancing architectural precision with ornamental richness.

Attributed to: Fritz Heckert, Warmbrunn, ca. 1885–1900
Origin: Bohemia
Height: approx. 30 cm
Condition: Excellent antique condition — no cracks or restorations, only minor age-related wear to gilding.

A superb example of Heckert’s artistic experimentation with enamel color and pattern, bridging the ornate Historicism and the emerging elegance of Art Nouveau.
