This elegant vintage Bohemian necklace dates to the period circa 1930s–1950s and features a beautifully balanced graduated design.
The necklace is composed of smooth round white opaline glass beads, graduating in size toward the centre, where they alternate with 11 rare spun hollow lampwork glass beads. These delicate hollow beads, hand-shaped and subtly textured, create a striking focal point and add depth and lightness to the overall composition.
Small grey glass seed beads are placed between the round opaline beads, providing gentle contrast and enhancing the rhythm of the design.
The necklace is finished with an old-style silver-tone fish-hook clasp, typical of Central European jewelry of the mid-20th century.
Bead sizes: approximately 5 mm to 18.7 mm
Length: 51 cm / 20 inches (from clasp to clasp)
Condition: good original vintage condition, as found. The glass beads show light age-related wear consistent with careful use. The clasp is secure and functional.
A refined example of Bohemian glass craftsmanship, suitable for collectors of Czech jewelry, vintage glass, and understated mid-century design.
