A refined example of Czech Art Deco glass design dating most likely to the 1930s–1940s.
This compact yet architecturally striking ashtray features a bold geometric silhouette with sharply ground facets and a thick, polished body. The sky-blue glass is coloured in the mass and displays excellent clarity with subtle depth and light refraction typical of quality Bohemian production of the interwar period.
Unsigned, yet fully consistent in form and technique with Czech pressed and subsequently ground glass of the era.
Its sculptural geometry makes it suitable not only as an ashtray but also as:
– a small catch-all dish
– a desk accessory
– a decorative modernist accent
