This vintage Czech Art Deco decanter set dates from the interwar period and consists of a decanter with its original stopper and five matching glasses. The set is made of clear pressed glass with moulded floral relief decoration accented by soft lilac colouring.
The sculptural form, combined matte and polished surfaces, and restrained colour palette are characteristic of Bohemian pressed glass production of the late 1930s–1940s. The design is attributed to Bruno Posselt, Tanvald, a Czech glass manufacturer active after 1935, with comparable examples documented in the collections of the Museum of Glass and Costume Jewelry in Jablonec nad Nisou.
A slight asymmetry in the decanter body is present, resulting from the pressed glass manufacturing process and not affecting stability or use.
The set is preserved in very good vintage condition, with only minor age-related wear.
