Elegant Art Deco malachite (jade) green glass bowl in an oval form, richly decorated with sculptural relief of waves and two carps.
The body was pressed into the mould using compressed air, with surface treatment combining matte and glossy polish, creating a striking contrast and depth of texture.
This design is attributed to František Pazourek, one of the prominent Czech sculptors and designers of the 1930s.
Comparable examples can be found in the Passau Glass Museum, Volume VI: Heinrich Hoffmann and Curt Schlevogt, pp. 92–103.
Condition: good vintage condition, with a tiny chip on one fin — possibly a manufacturing irregularity or minor surface scuff.
