Art Deco Bohemian Ruby Red Cut-to-Clear Crystal Decanter Set / Haida – Nový Bor, ca. 1920–1930s

A unique and rare Art Deco Czech Bohemian decanter set, composed of a geometric cut-to-clear ruby red crystal decanter and six matching glasses.

This striking ensemble exemplifies the finest craftsmanship of the Haida (Nový Bor) glassmaking region, known for its innovation and elegance during the interwar period.
Each piece is hand-blown, hand-cut, and hand-polished from heavy crystal with a ruby red overlay, engraved with stylized floral motifs — classic for early 1930s Bohemian design.

The unusual flattened circular form of the decanter and the faceted stopper reflect the Art Deco fascination with symmetry and contrast. Both decorative and functional, the set demonstrates masterful control of cutting, thickness, and proportion.
