A rare and elegant antique Czech necklace dating to the Art Deco period, circa 1930s.
This beautifully balanced composition features hand-painted milk glass beads in soft ivory white, delicately decorated with fine brown linework and subtle dot motifs. The restrained ornamentation reflects the refined simplicity and quiet sophistication characteristic of interwar Bohemian craftsmanship.
The strand is thoughtfully composed:
• Central bead: 20 mm
• Flanking round beads: 16 mm
• Elongated teardrop beads: approx. 33 × 15 mm
• Smaller round beads: 7 mm
Total length: approx. 54.5 cm (21.5 inches)
The necklace retains its original vintage character and presence, offering both historical charm and wearable elegance.
Very good antique condition.
The glass beads are free from cracks or chips. Minor age-appropriate wear and gentle patina are visible on the metal components and clasp, consistent with its age.
A scarce and highly collectible example of early 20th-century Czech glass jewelry.
